Penn State Police issued an all-clear after closing a section of Porter Road adjacent to Beaver Stadium while they investigated a suspicious package for a brief time.
Police cleared the package which turned out to be a legitimate package for deliver that did not contain any hazardous materials, Penn State officials said.
When the package was first discovered, pedestrian and motor traffic was re-directed from the area and several emergency response team members were on the scene to investigate.
