Penn State’s 2019 Homecoming is locked in for the first week of October.
Penn State Athletics announced that the yearly festivities will take place leading up to the Nittany Lions’ October 5 clash against Purdue.
The annual Homecoming parade will be Friday, October 4 before that Big Ten home opener. Additional details on the week’s events will be revealed throughout the rest of this semester and leading up to Homecoming, including the Grand Marshal and annual Homecoming concert headliner.
“Penn State Homecoming is very excited to continue our tradition of welcoming home alumni. We are very excited to celebrate 100 years of Penn State tradition and pride,” Isabella Webster, executive director of 2019 Penn State Homecoming, said in a release.
“We look forward to honoring our undergraduate and graduate students, as well as university members and alumni through our various courts. We look forward to culminating an exciting week of festivities surrounded by the Penn State community in Beaver Stadium.”
