A section of Interstate 80 in Centre County was closed for more than 10 hours Friday night into Saturday morning after a tractor-trailer rollover crash.
I-80 westbound between exit 158 at Milesburg and exit 147 at Snow Shoe reopened at about 4 a.m. Saturday, according to emergency response agencies and PennDOT. Traffic was diverted at exit 158 onto Route 150 during the closure.
The crash happened at about 5:40 p.m. near mile marker 154 in Boggs Township, according to Centre County 911 dispatch reports. Snow Shoe Fire Company reported that the tractor-trailer was “hauling a flammable hazmat load.”
No injuries were reported and no other vehicles were involved.
Multiple Centre County fire companies and fire police, along with the county’s Emergency Management Agency were dispatched to the scene.
