Penn State alumnus and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Dan Onorato will participate in an educational forum Monday at the University Park campus, the university’s Grassroots Network announced.
The forum will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. in Heritage Hall, inside the HUB-Robeson Center, according to the announcement. Tickets won’t be required, but space will be limited, and seats will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Grassroots Network is sponsoring the forum and invited both Onorato and the Republican nominee for Pennsylvania governor, Tom Corbett, according to the announcement. The event’s focus will be on higher-education issues.

On Wednesday, a rally for Corbett and Republican U.S. senatorial candidate Pat Toomey will be held inside the HUB. Toomey’s rival, Democrat Joe Sestak, spoke at a rally Saturday outside Old Main.
