A 19-year-old Pennsylvania man died after a tractor-trailer crash early Wednesday morning on U.S. Route 322 in Centre County, according to Coroner Scott Sayers.
Ardell Wadel, of Richfield, was pronounced dead at the scene of crash on 3200 block of General Potter Highway in Potter Township, Sayers wrote in a release on Thursday.
An autopsy concluded Wadel died of traumatic injuries sustained in the crash and the manner of death was ruled accidental.
State police are investigating but have not yet released a crash report.
Dispatch reports indicated the tractor-trailer overturned near Sand Mountain Road at about 1:40 a.m. Wednesday.
The road was closed westbound between the Sand Mountain Road exit and the split at Route 144/Old U.S. 322 for an extended period during the response.
