The focus has of the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse case has shifted from the campus of Penn State to the Centre County Courthouse.

But for many, this scandal is about Penn State as much as the former football coach.

There’s still a lot of anger about the fallout that ended the career of the late Joe Paterno.

Amid all the news cameras covering the trial is a documentary crew.

Kelly Dolak is shooting and directing a film titled “No Act of Ours”.

Dolak is a Penn State graduate who came back to town as soon as the scandal broke.

She has documented more than 60 hours of footage of interviews from the unforgettable downtown riots and Joe Paterno’s funeral procession.

Dolak said the reaction has been mixed, but the emotional connections to Penn State and the Second Mile Charity have made a complex case.

“A lot of people want this to go away”, said Kelly Dolak.  “Then you have some Penn State students and members of the community who are following it moment by moment.  You go on Facebook you go on the Penn State page and the alumni page. That’s an active conversation.”

This grassroots group has raised $7,000 of the $28,000 they said they need to make this documentary.
