State College School Board: As the State College school board tries to shave more than $3 million from its annual budget, more details of planned staffing changes are expected to emerge at the board meeting tonight. Some employees could be assigned new duties as 18 positions are cut through attrition, as StateCollege.com reported last week. Meanwhile, the board may weigh litigation against the Royal Bank of Canada, with which the district has a controversial arrangement, the Centre Daily Times reports.
