Commencement 2010: Penn State’s future newest alumni will don cap and gown this weekend as a college career comes to a close. Perhaps the most impressive speaker in town for the ceremonies is Documentarian Ken Burns, who will be speaking to the College of Communications. House Candidates Urge Penn State Reforms: Joyce Haas and Ron Reese, GOP candidates in the 77th House District, said Penn State needs to become more efficient and accountable.

PSU Dodges Elm-Yellows Bullet: Penn State has been fighting the deadly tree disease for about three years, losing 50 trees in that time. But the situation could have been worse, and the university is still home to one of the largest populations of that tree, Adam Smeltz reports.

Penn State Basketball: Penn State will take on defending ACC regular season co-champion Maryland on Wednesday, Dec. 1 at the Bryce Jordan Center as part of the 12th Annual ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Game time and ESPN platform designation on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN3.com will be announced later this summer.
