Missing Rush Township Man Found Safe

Update: The Rush Township man who was reported missing on Friday night was located on Saturday afternoon, according to Trooper Christopher Fox, the public information officer for state police Troop G. Hope Fire Company, which assisted with the search, reported on Facebook that the man is safe.

State police at Rockview are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Rush Township man.

Alan Keith Reed, 71, left on foot from his home on the 700 block of North Front Street at about 10:30 p.m. on Friday, police wrote in a public information report.

Police described Reed as 6-foot-2 and approximately 140 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a blue/purple shirt, dark blue jeans and black/red shoes, police wrote.

Anyone who has seen or been in contact with Reed is asked to contact state police at Rockview at 814-355-7545.
