Two explosions near the finish line of the Boston marathon have sent scores of people to the hospital. There are reports that at least two people have been killed. Police confirm there have been fatalities but won’t say how many. Witnesses report scenes of chaos. A 15-block area is being treated as a crime scene. Police are questioning witnesses. Security in New York City, Washington DC and other large cities is being stepped up. President Obama is promising immediate federal help.
