The State College area is expected to see heavy rain and possibly thunderstorms and minor flooding through Wednesday.
Brett Anderson, meteorologist with AccuWeather, says there will be rain on and off Tuesday with highs in the 40’s, making it a “chilly, raw day.”
Moving into Wednesday, the area is expected to see heavy downpours and possibly some flooding.
The heavy rain will start around late morning and continue into the evening with thunderstorms possible.
Minor street flooding especially in poor drainage areas is also possible.
Temperatures will be milder with a high around 58 degrees.
For Thursday, some sun is expected along with brief showers in the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 60’s. Temperatures will remain on the cooler side through the weekend.
