Crimestoppers: Delivery Driver Robbed, Assaulted on University Park Campus

A delivery driver was robbed and assaulted early Saturday on Penn State’s University Park campus, Centre County Crimestoppers reported.

It happened about 3:30 a.m. in a glass breezeway between Redifer Commons and Hoyt Hall, according to a Crimestoppers alert. Four suspects appeared; one of them grabbed the delivery driver’s wallet, the alert shows.

The second suspect threw the victim to the ground, Crimestoppers reported. The first was last seen leaving the area in a westbound yellow cab on College Avenue, according to the alert.

Authorities described suspect No. 1 as a college-age, black man who stands about 5 feet 8 inches tall and has a thin build and shoulder-length, thin dreadlocks. He was wearing dark pants, tan boots and a dark, hooded sweatshirt, they said.

The sweatshirt was described as having a yellow design on the left chest area and a yellow numeral ‘3’ on the right sleeve.

Suspect No. 2, meanwhile, is a college-age, black man with a lighter complexion, according to the Crimestoppers-provided description. It says he stands between 6 feet 2 inches and 6 feet 8 inches tall and has a muscular build; short, close-cropped hair; and no facial hair. He was wearing tan, cargo-style pants and a plain, gray, hooded sweatshirt, authorities said.

Crimestoppers released the image posted above; police are looking to identify the people who appear in it.
