The leader of Penn State women’s basketball has a brand new deal. Coquese Washington signed a five-year contract with a total compensation package worth about $3.5 million, the university announced Wednesday.
The deal runs from July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2017.
Washington is entering her sixth season. Last year, Penn State won its first Big Ten championship in eight years and advanced to the Sweet 16.
