Only seven people filed a ‘Request to Address’ form and will have their three minutes to comment before the Penn State Board of Trustees at its regular meeting on Friday.

This is the first time the board will allow public comment at its meetings, having adjusted a standing order that took effect in September. Per ‘guidelines’ on the board’s website, those making public comment only have three minutes to do so and may only comment on board-approved subjects.

‘We have seven individuals who requested to address the Board. All of these requests were are being accommodated and the Board looks forward to receiving their perspectives and comments,’ Penn State spokesman Dave La Torre said in an email.

The board meets at 1:30 p.m. on Friday in the Nittany Lion Inn for its regularly-scheduled September meeting.
