UPDATED @ 8:08 a.m. Nov. 3: A total of 147 exhibitor booths will be at the Regional Expo today, the CBICC has announced.

Free parking will be available in the Stadium West, Jordan East (Lot No. 44) and Porter North lots, all near the Bryce Jordan Center. Visitors are asked to avoid parking in Porter South, on the grass or in fire lanes; ticketing will occur, according to a CBICC advisory.

Also, anyone parking in metered lots must feed the meters in order to avoid ticketing, it notes. A free shuttle service will be offered from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; it will run between the Porter North lot (north of Medlar Field, across from the Joe Paterno statue) and the Jordan Center.

The event entrance is located at the Mezzanine entrance, near the Jordan Center’s Founders Lounge, the CBICC reported.

With the annual Regional Expo set for Thursday at Penn State University Park, the CBICC has released a complete, detailed agenda for the event.

Posted via the CBICC website (PDF download), the agenda lists a half-dozen workshops that will be free and open to the public. Their subjects range from business marketing and remodeling to coping with injuries in the workforce.

The CBICC — the Chamber of Business and Industry of Centre County — organizes the event, known formally as the Central Pennsylvania Regional Business and Industry Expo. In addition to its workshops, the third annual gathering will feature more than 125 business exhibitors from several counties. Each will highlight its goods and services.

Admission to the Regional Expo is free. It’s scheduled for 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Bryce Jordan Center.
