UPDATED @ 9:59 p.m. March 25: The man who died after a College Township accident Sunday has been identified as Ken Reeves, 50.
His employer, Ferguson Township-based AccuWeather, confirmed his identity in a statement late Sunday night. Reeves was a vice president, general manager and senior meteorologist for AccuWeather Inc. Television Network.
He died after falling from the roof of his Lemont home shortly before 5 p.m., police said. He had been taking down Christmas lights when he fell, according to a preliminary police report.
According to AccuWeather, Reeves is survived by his wife, Raychel; his parents; a brother; and a sister. He graduated from Penn State in 1983, according to the weather forecasting company.

A 50-year-old College Township man died after he fell from his home’s roof Sunday, State College police said.
It happened just before 5 p.m. in Lemont, according to a preliminary police report. Police said the man had been taking down Christmas lights when he fell.
Neighbors witnessed the accident, police said.
The man’s name was not immediately released Sunday night as the news reached his relatives. More information may be released Monday.
