The 45th annual Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts has opened today with Children and Youth Day.
Aside from Penn State home football games, no other single event brings as much excitement and energy to the State College area as the arts festival, which sprawls through downtown State College and onto the Penn State University Park campus.
This year’s festival will run through Sunday, promising its crowd favorites: the artists’ Sidewalk Sale, eclectic performing arts and diverse street-food options, among other highlights.
StateCollege.com’s comprehensive festival guide is available exclusively online. The site also will offer an array of festival coverage, including photos. To submit yours for consideration on the site, send them to editors@statecollege.com.
