WingFest will return to Tussey Mountain for eight weeks starting in June, and on Tuesday the Boalsburg ski and recreation area unveiled the music lineup for the Centre County summertime tradition.

Among the headliners this year is Pink Talking Fish, the self-described “hybrid fusion tribute act” that has grown a national following for its melding of the music of Pink Floyd, Talking Heads and Phish. They’ll take the stage on June 26, with local music scene stalwarts Pure Cane Sugar opening.

Other headliners include Lancaster-based cover band Amish Outlaws, tributes to Pearl Jam, Zac Brown and Linkin Park and local favorites Velveeta, My Hero Zero and Go Go Gadjet.

Each week will have local and regional support acts, including Caledonia, JR Mangan Band with Veronica, Felix and the Hurricanes, Coal Aly, OK Otter, The Jaded Lips and The PennSoulvanians.

Each week of WingFest will run from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Tussey Mountain Amphitheater, with Ricky LePean serving as emcee. Different restaurants and other culinary businesses will battle it out each of the first seven weeks of WingFest, with attendees voting on the best chicken wing purveyors. Each week’s winners will then go head to head on the final night to determine the Wing King for 2025.

Competitors will be announced at a later date. Savory Station was crowned the WingFest champion in 2024.

New this year, Tussey Mountain will offer an online ticketing option opening on Friday, April 11 at tusseymountain.com/wingfest.

Admission purchased in advance online will be $11 for adults and $6 for youth age 7-17 (6 and under are admitted free). At the gate, the entry cost will be $15 for adults and $8 for youth.

Once inside the amphitheater, attendees can use cash or credit for tickets used to purchase wings, drinks and other items from variety of vendors at the event.
