Punkin’ Chunkin’ Highlights Fall Festival Lineup

Trunk or Treat and Cruise In — Oct. 20

A Trunk or Treat and Cruise In will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20, at Stocker Chevrolet in State College. The event will be participating in the Teal Pumpkin Project, handing out free candy, face painting, a balloon artist, food vendors and more.

Haunted Flashlight Maze — Oct. 20, 26 and 27

Harner Farms in State College is hosting a Haunted Flashlight Maze from 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20; Thursday, Oct. 26; and Friday, Oct. 27. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Starkey Hearing Foundation. The event will feature hot dogs, sweet treats, cider and hot chocolate.

Good Shepherd Catholic Fall Festival — Oct. 21

Good Shepard Catholic Church is holding a Fall Festival from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21, in Port Matilda. The free event will have activities for children and shopping for adults with baked goods, knitted items, household goods, raffle gift baskets, food trucks and more.

Punkin’ Chunkin’ Fall Festival — Oct. 21

The one-day, free festival will be filled with pumpkin launching, food concessions, craft vendors, hayrides, children’s activities and a pumpkin pie eating contest. The event will take place 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Bald Eagle State Park at 149 Main Park Road in Howard.

Foliage Bike Ride and Festival — Oct. 21

Sustainable State College and borough Mayor Ezra Nanes will host a Fall Foliage Bike Ride and Festival from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21 at Sunset Park. The festival will feature a tree giveaway sponsored by West Penn Power, arts and crafts and food trucks, including Lost Moose Catering and Dog’s on the Run, Real Taste 570 and Classic Cones. Registration for the slow-paced, family-friendly bike ride is available online.

Harvest Fest — Oct. 22

State College Alliance Church is hosting its Harvest Fest, an annual celebration of the fall season, from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 22, in State College. There will be food trucks, live music, games, inflatables, bonfires with s’mores and more.

Sip and Shop Spectacular — Oct. 22

Sip and Shop Spectacular is from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 22, at Titan Hollow in Bellefonte. The event will feature more than 20 handmade and curated vendors. Costumes are highly encouraged and there will be trick or treating for kids. The Penn State Bass Quartet will provide live entertainment with a spooky set.

All-Sports Museum Trick or Treat — Oct. 24

The All-Sports Museum Trick or Treat is from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 24, at the Penn State All-Sports Museum in State College. The free event will offer trick or treating with Penn State athletes and a fun fair after. There will be a DJ, a live performance from the Statesmen acapella singers, activities and photo ops.

Light the Night — Oct. 25

The Nittany Valley Fellowship of Churches will hold its annual Light the Night event from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25 at Walker Township Park. The free family event will feature games, treat bags for kids, hot dogs, hot chocolate, cider and more. Kids are invited to dress in non-scary costumes.

Community Indoor Trick or Treat for All Ages — Oct. 26

Juniper Village at Brookline Senior Living in State College is hosting an indoor trick-or-treating for all ages from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26. Guests can walk the trail throughout the community and stop by residents’ doors for candy, snacks, drinks and treats of all kinds. The event will also offer spooky adult beverages from Big Spring Distillery.

YMCA Trunk or Treat State College — Oct. 27

YMCA State College is partnering with the Youth Service Bureau to host a Trunk or Treat from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27. The free event will take place at the YMCA in State College and will feature activities, games and treats from local organizations.

Halloween Hootenanny — Oct. 27

Halloween Hootenanny at Bald Eagle State Park in Howard will take place from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27. The event will feature activities, a costume parade, trunk or treat, a best trunk contest and more.

Fall Arts & Crafts Fair — Oct. 27-28

Christ Community Church in State College is hosting a Fall Arts & Crafts fair from Friday, Oct. 27, to Saturday, Oct. 28. The two-day festival will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both days. There will be food, arts and crafts and bounce houses.

Talleyrand Fall Fest — Oct. 28

The Talleyrand Fall Fest will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, at the annex side of the park in Bellefonte. The event is a fundraiser for the Bellefonte Sunrise Rotary Club and the funds raised are distributed to various community organizations and causes throughout the year.

Milesburg United Methodist Church Fall Fest — Oct. 28

Milesburg United Methodist Church is hosting its fall fest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, in Milesburg. The free event will take place in the church’s parking lot and yard, kicking off with a bicycle parade down Church Street. The fall fest will feature food, games, crafts and more.

Fall Fest at Calvary Harvest Fields — Oct. 29

Calvary Harvest Fields in Boalsburg is hosting a Fall Fest from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29. The event will feature activities for all ages, giant inflatables, family photos, coffee, food trucks and more.

Trunk of Treat — Oct. 29

Christ Community Church in State College will host a Trunk or Treat from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29. The event will include dozens of trunks with treats for kids, along with hayrides, food trucks, bounce houses and live entertainment, featuring DJ Gaspedal.

Halloween Parade — Oct. 29

The 75th annual Centre Region Parks and Recreation Halloween Costume parade is returning to downtown State College on Sunday, Oct. 29, at 6:30 p.m. All ages and costumes are welcome, with a costume judging contest at State College High School’s Memorial Field.

Boalsburg Halloween Celebration — Oct. 29

The annual Boalsburg Halloween Celebration will be from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29, at the Boalsburg Heritage Museum. The event will feature live music from the Brass Rats, bingo, face painting, food and pumpkin decorating.

Our Lady of Victory Bazaar — Nov. 4

From 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 4, this annual bazaar is open to the public and features food, games, entertainment, theme baskets, crafts, a silent auction and baked goods.  The event will be held at Our Lady of Victory in State College.
