The Penn State School of Music will hold its annual “Mosaic” concert at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, in Eisenhower Auditorium.
The production highlights the school’s student talent in a one-of-a-kind showcase featuring a variety of seasonal songs.
Tickets are $37 for adults and $14 for students if purchased online. Patrons can avoid the $4 fee by purchasing over the phone at 814-863-0255 or in person, weekdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Eisenhower Auditorium.
“Mosaic” is an immersive experience of sight and sound that features performances from Penn State’s student soloists and ensembles selected through a competitive audition process to produce a unique program each year.
Special lighting effects guide the audience’s attention throughout Eisenhower Auditorium, linking performances from the stage to the grand tier and balcony, creating a multi-sensory journey through a diverse musical program. Applause is reserved for intermission and the grand finale, allowing the show to flow seamlessly and heightening the drama of each new performance as it emerges.
A portion of the ticket sales benefit student scholarships in the School of Music.
