Showcasing local and international films, the Centre Film Festival will return for its fifth year from Oct. 30 to Nov. 5. The event includes in-person and hybrid viewing options for filmmaker talks, special events, screenings and more.

In-person screenings will take place at the State Theatre in downtown State College and the Rowland Theatre in Philipsburg.

The lineup includes a multitude of genres including fiction, non-fiction and documentaries pooled from more than 600 submissions across the world. The list includes more than 50 Pennsylvania premiers, four U.S. premiers and a horror night for Halloween.

There’s something for everyone at the film fest, from comedies to romances to kid-friendly movies. Attendees can expect a diverse assortment of national and international award-winning films.

Eight films have been selected exclusively to serve as a celebration of Indigenous Peoples’ Heritage Month. The selection includes narratives, features and documentaries all centered on indigenous characters.

An all-access pass is available for students who upload an image of their student ID on the ticket page. For non-students, an all-access pass is available for $55 for in-person or virtual showings. Individual tickets are also available for purchase.
