A signature fundraiser for the Centre County United Way returns in November with an evening of flavor and philanthropy.
Taste of the Town will feature food, wine and spirits from dozens of local restaurants and vendors from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 16 at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center.
More than 300 guests are expected for an event that celebrates and supports the collective impact of the community, CCUW and its partner agencies while enjoying local food and entertainment.
“When you sponsor or attend Taste of the Town, you’re not just supporting one event—you’re investing in a stronger, more connected community,” Megan Evans, CCUW executive director, said in a statement. “Together, we’re opening doors, uplifting neighbors and building a brighter future for everyone in Centre County. Because, United is the Way.”
Taste of the Town will feature samplings from more than 30 Centre County restaurants, as well as wine and spirit tastings from local wineries and distilleries. The evening also will include live entertainment, auctions and interactive experiences.
Several seating options are available, with individual admission of tables for groups of four or 10. Ticket buyers will also have the option of adding a new concierge service, Taste to Table, that includes a volunteer bringing samplings from the night’s featured restaurants directly to the table.
