Glow In The Dark Egg Hunt — Saturday, March 23
The Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt is hosted by Freedom Life Church from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bald Eagle Area High School in Wingate on Saturday, March 23. As the sun sets, the football field at the high school will be speckled with thousands of eggs filled with prizes. In addition to the egg hunt, there will be inflatables, games, activities, concessions, an illusionist and more. Admission to the event is free, with children up to fifth grade eligible to participate.

Calvary Church in Boalsburg is hosting a free community Easter egg hunt and breakfast at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 23. There will be more than 10,000 eggs hidden, with kids split up into age groups for searching. The Easter Bunny will make an appearance. A free pancake breakfast and children’s activities will start at 8:30, with the egg hunt to follow at 10 a.m.

March 30 marks National Take a Walk Day, and Centre Region Parks and Recreation is celebrating with its Where My Peeps At event from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Lederer Park in State College on Saturday, March 30. Colorful Peeps will be hidden throughout the park, each with a letter on it. Take a walk in the park to find all the Peeps and unscramble the letters to reveal the hidden phrase. Email CRPR with the solution to the puzzle, and correct answers will be entered into a drawing for a Peeps-themed prize pack.

Community Easter Egg Hunt — Saturday, March 30
State College Alliance Church and Blue Course Community Church will host free community Easter egg hunts from 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 30 at Blue Course Community Church, 1243 Blue Course Drive in State College. The two hunts will be identical and will feature more than 10,000 candy-filled eggs.
The day will also include games, crafts, face painting, inflatables and a special Easter presentation before and after the egg hunts.
