The Centre County United Way will soon have a new home.
The nonprofit organization is relocating to 112 W. Foster Ave., Suite 301 at the Midtown Square Office Center in State College, effective June 1. It has been located at 131 S. Fraser St. below the Fraser Street parking garage since June 2022 after moving from its previous longtime home in Pine Grove Mills.
Moving to a “more cost-effective space,” is part of a strategic initiative to reduce operational expenses and strengthen long-term sustainability, executive director Megan Evans said in a news release. It will allow CCUW to redirect savings into the community-based programs and services that it supports for Centre County residents.

“We’re proud to be good stewards of the resources entrusted to us,” Evans said. “Relocating to this new space enables us to reduce overhead costs and allocate more resources to essential community programs and initiatives across Centre County.”
“With spacious meeting areas and private staff offices, we’re excited to create new opportunities for collaboration and outreach in a space that reflects the spirit of our mission.”
Details about an open house to celebrate the new space and for CCUW to thank its partners and community members will be announced soon.
