Country music superstar Carrie Underwood will bring her newly announced, 43-date U.S. arena tour to Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center in early 2023.
The “Denim & Rhinestones Tour” will make a stop at the University Park venue for a 7:30 p.m. show on Feb. 10. Underwood will be joined by special guest, country singer-songwriter Jimmie Allen.
Tickets, starting at $39.50, go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday online. A discounted ticket presale for Penn State University Park students starts at 10 a.m. on Thursday.
One dollar from each ticket sold on the tour will be donated to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
The nine-time Grammy-winning Underwood will release her new album, “Denim & Rhinestones,” on June 10. The latest collaboration with co-producer David Garcia features the new single, “Ghost Story.“
Underwood is currently performing in a months-long Las Vegas residency through the end of this week. “Denim & Rhinestones” will be her first full tour since hitting the road behind her last album, “Cry Pretty,” in 2019.
“I’m thrilled to be hitting the road again with The Denim & Rhinestones Tour,” Underwood said in news release. “I’m having such an amazing time with my Las Vegas residency and look forward to continuing that next year after the tour. I’m excited to bring the new music of Denim & Rhinestones to life on tour, as well as put new spins on familiar favorites. We’ve been working hard already preparing an amazing show, and I can’t wait to see everyone on the road.”
