A local franchise of Pure Barre fitness studios is coming soon to the State College area.

Owner Erin Ruggles is getting ready to open a Pure Barre studio 19 Colonnade Way, Suite 107, next to the UPS Store and Crumbl Cookies.

“We are thrilled to become a part of the Centre County community and look forward to contributing to the health and well-being of its residents,” she said. “I manage a Pure Barre studio in Pittsburgh and fell in love with the brand and the community around Pure Barre.”

Pure Barre is billed as a low-impact, high-intensity full-body workout that draws on a number of activities.

Ruggles believes it will be a welcome addition to the State College fitness community.

“Pure Barre is not just a fitness studio; it’s a transformative experience,” Ruggles said. “Our studio is dedicated to helping individuals of all fitness levels achieve their health and wellness goals through a unique and effective workout regimen that combines elements of ballet, pilates, and yoga.

“What sets Pure Barre apart is our commitment to creating a supportive and empowering environment where our clients can tone their bodies, build strength, and boost their confidence. We believe that Pure Barre will provide a fresh and exciting fitness option for people of all ages and backgrounds.”

Ruggles expects to open Pure Barre this winter. Hours for the fitness studio will be 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, and 7:30 a.m. to midnight. on Saturday and Sunday.

Pure Barre is currently offering founding memberships of $99 a month for life, with unlimited classes, for anyone that signs up prior to opening.

Along with being a fitness studio, Pure Barre will also feature a boutique that carries popular brands such as Lululemon, Alo, Free People, Spiritual Gangste, and Beyond Yoga.
