Lock Boutique, a Bellefonte-based women’s clothing store, is moving to downtown State College in January.
The store is set to open its doors at 216 E. College Ave. in the current location of Ethereal Boutique, which will close later this month after four years in business. Ethereal owner Miranda Sheetz is taking her store west as she prepares to move to Indianapolis.
While an opening date isn’t available yet, Lock Boutique will begin moving from its 136 W. High St. location as early as Jan. 1, according to a post on the store’s Instagram page. A moving sale will accompany the store’s final hours in Bellefonte from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Dec. 21 to 23, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 24 and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 27 and 28, according to the boutique.
Lock Boutique isn’t just bringing fresh fashions to downtown State College. The boutique’s sister store, Lock Bridal, will also be consolidating into the new location, according to the post.
